Meetings We Attend
As local councillors we attend a variety of meetings - the majority of which are held in the evenings.
These are:
(1) Borough of Broxbourne Council Meetings - either committees or the full council.
(2) Borough of Broxbourne Training Events - the council runs an ongong programme of councillor training.
(3) Other Community Meetings.
On occasion we attend Council committee meetings as "substitutes".
This means that we temporarily take the place of a Councillor who serves on that committee but is unable to attend the meeting.
As "substitutes" we adopt the voting privileges of the Councillor that we are substituting for.
We would like to keep residents informed of the number of meetings we attend so that you can see that we fulfill our obligations as your representatives.
To date (2nd September 2010) we have attended the following meetings since being elected on 1st May 2008
